Varied exposure. Due to lack of budget management will get most of the high end task done by you thereby increasing the exposure.

Poor management - the top level management i worked with was not skilled and GA was managed by PTP and OTC leaders Bad pay - increments and perks are really bad Office politics - no value for work if you are good at dancing or singing or anchoring management might favour you. If you are good at work they will drill you. Management company - there is no HR so the rule of manager is final. I witnessed few harassment casses wherein a female employee was abused by manager and on her complaint there was no action. No promotions - there is no 18 or 24 month criteria. Even if you are top rater they at first will make false promises of promotion and later will reject your promotion. Self centered management - the management is so self centered they even jeopardize the careers of innocent. I witnessed few cases where people were asked to resign or else threatened to be given PIP. No formal documentation of roles and responsibilities also even sometimes they mislead org chart or hierarchy. Delayed FNF - management is unaware about FNF policy or relieving formalities which result in delay of FNF. My FNF is pending for more than 2 months and after several escalations i get no resolution. We can learn many things in that company as they have given free access for all learning platform. It totally depends on you how u utilise it.

I don’t have idea about other projects inside the company, but the project which I was working was a low budget project then too those managers were not living that project and it was a worst project , as I am a fresher it was not good to start Carrer like that.

I am working in IBM Security. IBM got really good work-life balance. The work hours are flexible, no one will pressurize you into doing things.

Dislikes

The hikes are not that great. Even switching projects is a very difficult. If you are a graduate hire then you must atleast work for 18 months in the initial project, no matter you are interested or not.

Their work life balance is really good but their core work is not up to mark . So I will suggest look for different companies if you want to grow your learnings and career . The options for learning different tech through courses are available but the core work is not up to mark so you are hoping to learn through work is not available

Nothing as such, it was good company earlier but now.

Dislikes

No good projects in IBM Consulting, all are support projects. If you don't get project with in 2 months, then you are fired(forcefully resignation). Also without PR it's difficult to get project. For everything management will threat to put you in PIP. No salary hike.
