Except people (very few), there is nothing to talk about. Even if such people are not there, it is really hard to survive in this company

Dislikes

No proper structure of process or teams, everything keeps changing constantly. Being a banking concern, the appraisal provided is really poor. Extreme level of politics. Over dumping the work. Have to spend 12/13 hrs every day literally. There is only work in the worm-like balance.

My colleagues whom I have worked with were amazing, shared a very good rapport with all, have an excellent training over the years in terms of being responsible, accountable and to be independent. HSBC provides career growth to all and sundry depending on individual's profile and their ability to take on the challenges thus, paving way for myself being promoted to the next level. The salary/appraisal is apt and I am sure to believe that the employees including me were truly satisfied including the work environment, learning needs and work-life balance. My work was more of managing transport operations of the company and also looking after the administrative work. The work environment was truly exciting. At times, it was challenging in terms of managing vendors and stakeholders, however, it was exciting.

It's not the company which run people,but it's the people who run. It is certain that every person has a different perception towards a situation. Work life balance is good, you get many things to learn, I have worked with many people and were the best people to work so far.

Dislikes

No opportunities for travelling, Salary/appraisal not that great for a person who is working so hard and delivering things on time along with quality - you can include politics in here.

The work i'm currently doing is very interesting as I love to expand my horizon. This is something new to me and is challenging. Very hectic though. It's ok, as I'am getting to learn new things, which is positive. No travelling opportunity so far.

Overall its good in terms of colleagues, job security was good in terms of career growth its depends not only on performance but few intangibles things as well. In regard to salary/appraisal they were not satisfactory. Politics are existing everywhere wherever we work and needs to accepted and to deal with accordingly.
