our expection is to secure our job and atlist give the salary hike on yearly basis. we are working as engineer and ,we all do whatever a HPCL officer doing. The salary package is very disapointing.

What I like about this organization is the salary (which is comparatively higher than the market).

A lot to talk about, 1. Work culture - Terrible experience (high level of politics and managers used you for their benefits) 2. Manager behavior - Terrible, I even saw some of them just yelling at contract workers and showing no respect for them 3. Work-life balance - Way poorer, had to work 16-18 hours sometime because of rail loading/unloading

Groupism, Very high level of politics everywhere in work, delayed promotion, discrimination, mental torture, harassment. Hardworkers and meritous people are harassed. Those who are masters of politics they get promoted very fast and make life hell for you. Lots of unwritten rules and red tapesism. There is huge stay back after office hours. If you are given a good job role and you are a hard and smart worker, you will be recognized but that doesn't guarantee you being in top managerial role.

Dislikes

No approachability to upper management. HR doesn't listen to genuine concerns, Unless employees are told that HR can only show sympathy and do nothing for you unless someone is dying (not even considered then) . Work culture for women is really bad at some locations. Women who cannot travel for 4 hours a day should be relocated to amore comfortable office location. This goes infact for everyone. One pregnant women was made to work at field and screamed at during her 8th month of pregnancy. Worst !...Read More

Things are pretty haphazard in most departments. I have had the opportunity to work in 3 departments in 8 years, across two locations, and honestly, only one department took care of learning and personal growth
