Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Nepotism is rotting this company from inside. Micro-management has reached dystopian levels; face recoginition entry, per day effort tracking, and automatic abscences for minor attendance discrepancies. Big Brother is watching, but only for the outsiders. Non-technical people hold senior technical positions, delivering lectures on development without ever having written a single line of code. HR is nothing more than a decorative prop, powerless and complicit[Nothing new] . The entire company is a family business disguised as a corporate entitiy, ousiders have zero job security while nepotism hires enjoys a 200% safety net. When the so called "highly technical" nepo kids fail, they don't get fired - you do. Salary delays are a norm, not an exception. Never on time, never predictable. Development practices are Non-exitstent, No coding standard, no structure; just a reckless push to "get things done at any cost" Code quality is the worst you'll see, riddle with memory leaks and technical debt that nobody cares to fix. To top it off, their HR team actively scrubs negative reviews off from every platform. Truth is being erased but that doesn't change the reality....Read More
