The pathetic thinking of hire management to make employees work for more than 10 hours daily basis without giving any overtime

So basically there are 2 hapag lloyd offices 1. Hapag lloyd qsc/ area in andheri mumbai (front office) 2 hapag lloyd gsc in thane (back office) Good package provided at andheri office Bad package for both freshers and experienced at GSc. I joined gsc for 10k per month as an associate but now i think they are providing probably 15k to freshers. Experienced ive no idea. Its a desk job and process related. After joining you will be joing under company details and export import knowledge Then youll be selected for any of the processes like day shift afternoon shift or night shift ( you cannot ask to change the shift ) once selection is done. Holidays are given as per the country requirements. If you’re in india team then might get indian holidays. You may either land up in imports / exports or any other process its totally depends on the mgt. Only in some process there is No pressure which is good. This is for GSC No growth no proper salary Mgt Politics Be ready for the changes in process in teams or in mgt any time. Appraisal are a cheat. I didnt find many TL worthy of the position. Also there is few processes where they put hell lot of pressure, no proper training, very bad idea discovered by the management A guy should learn 30 countries with 1 hr training each country online And shld be able to perform using SOP. No growth out there if youre looking to switch. Internal growth totally depends on the repo you have with mgt and the tenure. Ppl who have good knowledge abt the shipping business are not given importance. Other gsc’s are better as compared to hapag lloyd. For freshers before joining back offices in shipping pls take guidance from someone inside, understand the work and salaries. Out there are many good opportunities in other fields. Back offices only has documentation which is basically copy paste Customer Service And operations (running automation tools) Execl reports and copy paste Didn’t enjoy my time in gsc. generally speaking my experience with hapag llyod was challenging as we used to deal with invoices of different countries, check the eligibility criteria and processing all invoices related to consigned parties or vendors.
