Poor management, Higher level managers doing micromanagement they even check your code what you have written. Just forgot about promotions you will hardly see any promotion after 3 years of your work tenure. And hikes here very pathetic , they called themselves product based company but their hike is similar to what we have in service based mnc like infosys, tcs etc. There is no learning platform provided for the career growth. No learning opportunity they only just focused upon deliverables that's it. And Hikes here is directly proportional to how close you are to your manager. If you are that buttering employee its a great place for you. But who have self respect towards themselves and their work I suggest not to join otherwise you will feel regret about it....Read More

The company is employee centric in terms of letting them put there views and points forward. Our suggestions are valued. There are various activities that are being organized that encourages us to be in office, and have fun with out teams along with the work we do. Facility of cab which is provided is good one. The working environment is good which makes it great place to work.

Dislikes

Promotion tenure is way to more. 18 months time period eligibility criteria if reduced to 12 months would be great. Salary package offered is little low. If it is the same, so atleast one time meal during the shift hours can be offered by the campus.

There is also an Operations department which is slightly non-technical. Culture: Great Culture, Allows Hybrid Work Mode, HR events are lined up any time of the year to show case your talent and out shinefrom the crowd. Quarterly townhalls and Reward and Recognition programs (R and R's). HR and CIO are reachable for your concerns. Round the year CSR activities. IT Department had some up and downs this year. Some projects got halted, They had to lay off employees as they did not have any other projects to move people. Strategies were changed and new projects introduced.

Working environment and cultural life was quite good here. The staff and colleagues are very helpful for each other that make the work more efficient and effective.

Dislikes

Management was too poor here. People on higher positions always have personal grudges with their team member whether it is related to work or personal one. Rules and regulations are not at all same for any level. Due to poor management issues people are leaving the company in recession period also. Great opportunities to learn as they slowly but surely adapt to new coming technologies. Work environment is friendly and most of the colleagues will extend a helping hand.

For developers/engineers, the most common 12 pm to 9 pm timming does not work in their favour as during work from office you might reach home by 10:30 pm (especially in NCR, due to high traffic). For the same reason (traffic congestion) office cab will pick you up as early as 10 am so that you can reach office before 12 pm. The total time in work from office including commute can go upto 12.5 hrs a day. This takes a toll on your work life balance. By the end of 2022 they was a pressure of working from office for the 50% of the time. It was indicated that the work from office will regularise more with the start of 2023. In 2021 and 2022 there was a high attrition rate in Guardian, many experienced developers left the company, suddenly there was issue of very few people having the required minimum product knowledge. This caused a great discomfort of getting the required knowledge before starting to work on the task assigned. Initial Team induction and KT was also not at par due to the same.
