GE Healthcare is a very process driven company and it gives you enormous opportunity to sharpen your skill set, though company has lot of pressure on numbers but still working in GE is like life time opportunity and i advise that given a chance one should definitely work in GE once in their career.

GE has to really work on the employee growth path as they lack in hierarchy having said that GE also needs to work on the overall skill building programs for all of the employees it should not be restricted to few of them

Had been in Healthcare industry for 13 years,Wipro GE Healthcare is the first company which has laid me off in the month of may 2020 within a span of 6 months because of pandemic and still I am searching for a job leaving me in a situation which not only impacted my candidature but also my financials and personal life. I pleaded on grounds of humanity but the system of the organization is decaying its own profitability and worth by leaving hand of an employee during the worst phase even when I have achieved,delivered more than 70% of expected business revenues and created strategic relations worth crores in just 6 months.I hope this changes soon as face of an organization are the people who work in the field of healthcare equipment even risking their health every day by exposing themselves to Hospitals and Diagnostic Centres , even during Covid-19....Read More

Entire organisation has a best culture, right from senior leadership to anyone and everyone in the organisation adheres to servant leadership and this brings the sense of ownership, empathy and belonging to the organisation.

Work and skills mapping, e.g., hiring would have happened for project x while one may end up working on project y, while project x is still getting structured and have lots of ambiguity.

The culture of the company is something which stands out for me. Open door policy, flexibility for the genuine cases, people-centric HR policies, no micro-management from the leaders, empowering someone to take the key decisions are some of the aspects which I like about this organization.

Dislikes

The compensation is not best-in-class as per the IT industry. The long-term onsite opportunities are not there too. So if someone is looking for some of these aspects, then it might not be the right place for him/her.
