The infrastructure is good. The company provides Breakfast and lunch , which you cannot complain about which is a good thing. Flexible work hours, Office cab , allowances for internet , WFH are good things. The culture what is preached is on par with other medical device giants , it is comparable and the culture is good "If followed" (depending on the people, especially your manager). At the end of the day it is humans and people that makes a work place a heaven or a hell, and it all comes down to your manager. They have the "Speak Up" culture which is great but people are going to stand by and watch, hear what you say and do probably nothing about it. Your performance is not valued much , but educational background is. The relieving experience is terrible, where your fair requests are not valued or respected. They some how think that they reserve the right to lay off people in 15 mins, but when you ask for a mere 15 days early release out of a 90 days notice, that is not in their interest....Read More

Offers less salary to new employees who deserves to get more salary. There is no difference between Under graduates and Post graduates in terms of salary. The employees who are holding under graduation and less percentage in academics offered more salary than the employees who are holding higher grades, awards and post graduation. HR's are not in the position to evaluate the employee and offers deserving salary based on Educational background, years of experience and technology they are working. Even the cab drivers make same salary in a month. Then why our parents spent lot of money for education since childhood. I request HR's to keep in mind to offer a salary to an employee He/She deserves to be. or else employees will keep on changing to other companies. I'm feeling shame to tell my salary to my co-employees when they said their salaries with Same years of experience and when someone working on old technology which they don't need to update latest technologies....Read More

There will be timely trainings, with which you can develop skills. That's the only advantage I see here. Lunch is free/ Cab availability. Salary is average to good, promotions are good only meeting certain criteria. See dislikes for more info.

Believe me, this site BD TCI is just a service company which works for BD and claims itself as OEM. Expectation is that you work 10 to 5 in day time and you are expected to work from 7 to 12 AM or even beyond during the US time by killing your personal time. Work is allocated in such a way you fall into such schedules. Doing all this they call themselves as flexible. Best part is you can meet project timelines only if you work day and night, and you'll also be recognised only if you do that. They have team outings/Lunch etc....and they say we have all this to meet your targets. Please stay away....Read More

No proper management and managers are not at all empowered to take any decisions. Even though BD is product based company all the managers are from service industry and it feels like working in Service company only. Managers are not at all into technical and all they do is people management which is also not that great. They just depend on few individuals to take decisions.

We have good benefits apart from salary. They conduct culturals periodically which helps us to get out of the work stress bubble.

Dislikes

Work life balance is affected due to late evening calls. Recently the approach to execute the projects have been changed making the work style hectic and keeps you in a stressful situation and drains mentally. The job security Recently has been questioning.
