- Model Training Details: Multiple models with varying sizes, ranging from 125 million parameters to 13 billion parameters, were trained using code data with a context size of 2048. Nvidia A100 GPUs were used for training.
- Attention Variations: Three models were trained for each model size with attention variations - multi head, multi group, and multi query. The architectural choices for each model family are available in the paper.
- Inference Hardware: Nvidia A100 GPUs were used for inference using Deepspeed inference on top of Huggingface transformers. Implementation is being extended to FasterTransformer.
