People are very open minded. They discuss about ideas, respect each individual. Our CHRO is an IT guy. With so much passion for HR he moved into people and org. At times, I feel amazed seeing immense opportunity lying within your scope.

Dislikes

The startup culture still reflects as on adhoc basis. Multiple goals, Limited timelines, messed up projects, less documentation would eat you up! It is tiring!

If your package is high compare to other person who are working then make sure you can get kicked out by saying this after 3months . You work life depends on your manager. If you are joining through third party payroll then don't expect any hike or promotion and be ready after 1year of you want to stay you will always get a threat to kick you out from the organisation be it FTC / FTE . Salary structure is very poor. Here promotions happen not considering your work or something but if you have source or can oil your manager then there are possibility. Eg: a manager with 10years of operations experience become a analytics manager in a day and given this fact , he will be getting training from the current data analyst employees. Plus the data analyst who are already working for 3years they wont give you any promotion opportunity rather they will say 'we are unable to pay you salary we don't have budget , if you are interested for promotion by hearing this go for it" . I have 6 years & 5 months of experience in Flipkart as a data entry operator at the packaging Store department. Two times passed the Flipkart Flipahead examination. HR selected but the department not selected because manager higher own releted. So, I don't like this shameless policy.

No job security ,problem is with senior management but still medium and junior level employees are being targeted for non performance of any vertical. Senior management are not trust worthy specially in Flipkart grocery vertical if you get job do not join you will spoil your career as there is no learning only office politics.
