2 days WFO, rest WFH. Not much work pressure

Work-life balance - Good

Dislikes

Hikes are halted Learning and development is very slow A lot of politics as work is less Medical facilities are poor then the good companies in the market like PwC etc. Mandatory to come to office 2 days in a week They say company is going through financial crisis then why they are buying another companies calling us to office mandatorily. But unable to give us proper hikes and perks. People are happy to join product based companies but only thing good is less work pressure... Other than that everything is pretty average or bad. The company looked a little cheap in their mentality, policy, financially, culturally. I don't why they are being awarded as one of the best companies in #Great Place to Work, there are multiple other greater companies giving you better salary, work, growth, environment and perks. Will leave this in sometime for sure...not much happy with it....Read More

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
