Two points I can remember. The IT team is prompt to attend to any issues. The other is the HR team which never delays in one task only and always completes it in time. It is to issue warning letters or to terminate an employee for which there is no delay.

Dislikes

Firstly it is the company policy. The customer needs to be cheated to keep the top management happy. However if the customer realizes and calls back, then the top management fires the agent. If the agent charges incorrect service fee then the agent loses his incentive however the excess amount charged does not go back the customer, rather gets distributed amongst the top executives as their incentive. Cheating, fraudulent practices and misrepresentation to the customer are the work culture priorities in Fareportal. Internally the top management needs to be pampered always rather than one doing their own work religiously for promotion. Furthermore if an advisor follows the company policy after consulting their floor support or their team leader and the customer is still not ready to accept, the top management decides to terminate the service of the advisor under false grounds and will raise false evidences of errors committed by the advisor which the advisor is not allowed to defend. If an advisor travels in office transport however cannot avail due to work load suffers money deduction from the pay package towards penalty. Working at Fareportal was the worst professional experience of my life. The office culture is toxic, with zero regard for employees' well-being. The company's sole focus is on achieving targets, often through unethical means, such as pressuring employees to sell plane tickets or hotel bookings at exorbitant markups, particularly to vulnerable groups like senior citizens or those who are less tech-savvy. Selling a $100 ticket for $1000 is not uncommon, and this blatant exploitation is actively encouraged. Work-life balance does not exist here. The company demands extra hours almost daily and forces employees to work six days a week at least twice a month under false pretenses of unmet targets. They don’t care if you’re sick or hospitalized – meeting targets is the only thing that matters. Forget about promotions or skill development; you’re merely a cog in their machine, logging in to scam unsuspecting customers. The management is the worst part. A manager who went by the alias "Rob" epitomized the toxic environment. His behavior was outright abusive, constantly threatening employees with job loss if targets weren’t met. Complaining to HR is useless because they turn a blind eye to everything, protecting their own interests. His harassment drove me into depression, and there was no support from the company whatsoever. Yes, the salary and incentives can be decent, but they come at a huge moral and mental cost. Your earnings depend on how well you can manipulate and mislead people into paying outrageous prices. This is not a company for anyone who values ethics, personal well-being, or professional growth. Overall, my experience was horrible. I would give this company 0 out of 10 and never recommend it to anyone. Leaves are'nt provided in time even when we have more than enough in our balance. Employees had no fix week'offs. Two days off's were rotated between colleagues and it was very inconvenient when we were given Week offs in place of Leaves. We had to manage next week without any off's and had to work whole 10 days in a row as previous weeks off's were adjusted as leaves.

Poor working culture. Unprofessional culture imposed by managers. Boss is always right formula is common practice and is deep rooted in culture. Need proper team leading trainings to the managers.

This is for name shake an MNC, fact is that it is company driven by the list of some personal who are old, liked by Mr. Sam Jain ( founder CEO) No value of professional skills here, no one listens your voice, one sided decisions by HR all works in a fixed Ajenda. This is the company where old people have a trend of blaming and make the people exit who did not fit into their system. They do not accept changes, new Idea s , policy trends across industries. No one wants to enhance their skills and development but everyone needs promotions. My advice to the people to be aware of such organisation .
