I have worked with EY for approximately 5 years and felt at comfort with few managers since they were very cooperative and understanding. The company promotes culture of flexible working hours in some teams.

Dislikes

1. Undue work pressure in non busy seasons and not letting charge time 2. Huge politics during promotions and increment cycle end. 3. Mental pressure due to unrealistic deadlines. 4. Leadership misuses their power to shut down employees raising voices against malpractices. 5. EY GDS not always following global audit guidelines.

Flexibility to work, Scope to learn, good stepping stone for freshers, good brand, recognized well in the job market, good culture.

Dislikes

Long work hours, pays far lesser than industry standards, back end team for US (though the learning curve depends team to team), sub standard other fringe benefits, favouritism at some levels, managers put their own admin work on seniors and staffs

There is no work life balance and seniors and managers are very unsupportive, always terget the colleagues. Internal politics are the major part of the EY. All the employees who working 10years continually they treat ourselves as the CEO of this company. Overall I do not recommend anyone to working with this organisation. Especially EY GDS Gurgaon based location.

Supporting senior level and above due to maintain the bossissm on junior level. Bucketing for higher managers for promotion and other benifits, while leaving the company the employees used to give feedback but HR team won't consider instead support with respective team managers only. 1. Salary is offerred based on job role, not on previous drawn salary. 2. Ample leaves. 3. Better work life balance than country practice. 4. Good increment Y-O-Y. 5. Even being GDS unit you get to learn & grow your sector knowledge, not a typical copy paste work.

Dislikes

1. Few locations are given more preference than others. 2. Promotion / YE rating process lacks transparency. 3. People with same rating at same level have different hike %, for which reasons are not specified.

- There is no proper training or support from seniors or managers. - Setting high end goals from day 1 - Not respecting the personal space - Be aware of the pay as they offer less than the promised one in the offer letter - There is no proper HR support to raise the concern - IT helpdesk is really useless as majority of them is unaware of things. Wide gambit of learning and the opportunity to interact globally and work within varied domains. Flexibility in work schedules and the fact that we have 3 days WFH per week.

Dislikes

There is a lot of emphasis on social gathering which may not go well for all people. This means that if you are not socially active, you're work is less visible even though you may be an outstanding contributor.
