I only liked working here when my manager was from USA.

Performance assessment Role changes Culture (Especially with Indian managers) No insurance for mom and dad it's only spouse & kids No other benefits are provided and whenever requested the world's top 5 oil and petrol company has to say they do not have the budget. But they do have the budget to fund events, sponsor celebrities and acquire other organisations.

Good to have skills in other companies are primary skills in ExxonMobil. You can be moved to any role after 2/3 yrs. Yearly assessment sucks. No senior roles available in Bengaluru in IT. KL pretty much controls. The more experience you are the lesser the value you get. Your repotees can become your managers soon if you got little ego u can't work here. There is nothing I like about this company. It's a total disaster.

Terrible pay, backstabbing all the time, repetitive tasks, terrible IT systems, worst performance ranking ever, you are not the owner of your career, and nothing you do in Exxon will be useful to work in other companies, which essentially means a long term career in Exxon guarantees you'll be stuck here forever. Since there is no HRdepartment nor care for employees whatsoever, the company doesn't mind bringing always bad news to the table. Management doesn't have any preparation nor skills at all to manage people. This combined with the ranking system leads to an awful culture and a cut-throat environment. My advice is: do not even give a try to this company. Wish you read the reviews before entering, and if you do so, good luck. Almost no one is happy working for this company. Oh and I forgot. Everything is good here except need to go to office daily but work culture and office environment is very good. Management is approachable, HR are good, benefits and leave policy is good
