Politics, you would be valuable only till you are on bench. All the good ratings are allegedly bogus ones here made by HRs/Managers encouraged by Management who themselves monitors these websites and pushes HRs to improvise and maintain the a healthy 3.5 rating.

Dislikes

everything, - insecurity on top and a biggest concern. They immediately fire everyone in mass just after the end of project - No growth in terms of designation, money and learning. All the system and processes are there but is of no good. Hike is meager of 3 to 5 % - Works on age old .net technologies or ODS on oracle systems. All the buzz words only to acquire talents and nothing else. - Not able to retain clients even if the project is not completed. Clients drop them in the middle of the project because of excessive billing charges. - Unethical practices, no culture and poor work life balance, clients would shamelessly ask you to support over Weekends and Managers would take their sides. Product owners would be asked to perform Scrum Calls and QA would be asked to development and developers would be asked to do Manual testings to save their jobs - no exposure to latest technologies, only hyped mailers to encourage Data Science/RPA/Cloud/Automation but in reality there is no project to get hands on the system. I've closely worked with the management for 4 long years and saw how things are done in a way which doesn't makes sense at all....Read More

New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!
