Dislikes

The company barely has any projects that are upto the level of intellect one expects from a lawyer. There were very few decent projects and I think, most of them have now lost their clients because of automation or AI integration or because other competing firms have vouched for better quality and taken a swing at this firm by snatching clients left and right. Most of the people left in the firm have been there for around 10-15 years and have no idea how it works in the outside world. They are massively cocooned and will mostly be found micro managing associates or bombarding them with menial work. The work is so monotonous that you're bound to make errors and then you will have to hear every other manager berate your performance and stress the importance of "quality". If you find people who can support you within the organization, that is great (which is what I did) but they are farther and few in between and the work isn't going to do you any favours on your resume. The pay is very less and there is an overall culture of exploitation. If you have to rise in this environment, you'll have to do more work than you are allocated to do and people will begin expecting that of you and offer you responsibilities that do not come with a promotion or an increment in your salary. I do not recommend working here but if you must because you're starving for choices, do not waste a minute doing anything that is not in your JD and do not stop looking for jobs....Read More
