There is no boundaries to learn in decathlon you can learn and approach any leader out there and get your doughts clear over there. And there are negative points as well You'll be never paid fair.

1. You'll not get any fair payout. They say at the time of appraisals that there is no such thing called T1 and T2 cities hence we don't give hike basis on that.But why there is salary structure difference in same roles in T1 and T2 cities. 2. Politics :- my pervious managers was always do the partying with other persons on the samerole as me and always do the gossips at the same time. I was always bold to say things that they are not doing right but what happens they will make your image in front of zonal manager bad saying he's not good guy and always create problems. 3. Even when you have done lot of things proposed same things and delivered lot of profitable results in any field you'll be given same hike as the person who's not doing anything and licking the foot of the manager. 4.For the same role and responsibilities you'll be getting more layout in other stores. I'll say 30-40% extra. 5.work life balance:- here even if you work 48 hours continously work they will still say you haven't done anything and they'll not. Since these people don't have there own personal life outside they don't understand what is life outside work....Read More

It would feel like an extended college life for freshers. Amazing colleagues but the seniority would be pathetic.

Dislikes

They will use young talents at a bare minimum salary and the moment you ask for appraisal they will keep you working at the same salary or 2-5% hikes and you will be mentally and financially broke 3-4 years later you will move to point where you will decide to quit. Their strategy is to hire young talents and exploit their energy and finally flush them out when they ask for more.

Zero ethical check points. Managers took advantage for foreign trips themselves quite frequently. Biasing is common within managers Vs encouraging quality work by subordinates. Culture of appreciation is unfortunately amiss.

Firstly they operate without any functional HR, so your boss becomes your defacto HR (even at the time of recruitment process), if as a new candidate you ignored this red flag then I have something more to tell you- The level of politics and backstabbing is surprisingly awful! Finger pointing and dog whitlisting is even encouraged by your managers/ coaches in the name of speedier project execution making your workplace a complete mess! They will make you feel that they are adding value to your "wholesome" learning while actually they are making you mediocre and unemployable in real markets by imposing useless project management work with those endless calls wasting much of your quality time leading to a high attrition rate, the reason you will find frequent job advertisements for pending vacancies (reference- job vacancies on LinkedIn for RE legal every quarter) The only way to sustain and grow in this so called MNC which operates much like a "lala company" is by booot licking your senior bosses who in there past have also followed the similar path and are promoted not based on merit but sheer flattery and donkey work....Read More
