Well Damco solutions can have a very wonderful experience for a lot of employees, and I can see why. Since the experience in my opinion is based on the manager one works under. I have had positive experience with one of the 2 managers I worked under. And there are some positive aspects about Damco in general which can lead to a fulfilling experience. Well, you experience depends on who is the manager in your team. It can be amazing, it can be terrible. I worked in 2 teams under 2 different managers, and the experience was a polar opposite in both scenarios. The following points are purely based on the negative experience I had due to one of the managers, and there are one or 2 points that I have added that I personally believe are negative about Damco Solutions overall. - Sometimes have to do forced overtime, without compensation. - I joined in as a fresher, instead of getting a chance to work on technology, which I liked and wanted to truly base my career upon, I was forced to take up a technology that I hate to work on. This has had a drastic negative impact on my career goals, making it a lot harder to do what I want to achieve in future. - Now this point is a lot more manager specific, so experience might very based on who you work under. But the manager I worked under in one of the projects I was assigned to, was... let's just say... hard to work with. - Learning opportunities can be very slim, depending on you career goals. - We are forced to fill the timesheet based on project allocation, not based on actual hours we spent on the project.
