Likes

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management listen to your problems. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

1. 99% Job security in cognizant 2. Company policies are good 3. opportunities to learn new technology 4. onsite opportunities(dependents on your project)

Dislikes

1. Salary and appraisal is not upto the mark. 2. Growth is slow 3. working hours 11-12 hours in a day(dependents on your project) 4. Work pressure is very high is sometimes(dependents on your project/less FT's)

This is about my current project, My work is slightly challenging as i have to look after the entire product testing. Will receive a requirement, after analyze the requirement, will plan the test design and then will start the test execution part.

learning materials, top company, good package for freshers. Good learners can easily gain advantage of this within 2 years of joining.

career growth, even if you have top rating it is waste. Only in media they say fit for growth. But it's not like. Managers are not given correct directions on policies. Because of which promotion is not given. Politics is everything here.
