Career confusion

Hey guys, i am a btech mechanical graduate, year 2023. I got placed in a pharmaceutical company,in maintenance dept, but work here is purely either Documentation or some kind of general management work, nothing related to actual mechanical application. I feel stuck here with no possible growth. What should i focus on, if i want to switch to non pharma company, like automobile or heavy machinery etc. , as a mech grad ?

Due to my father Helath issue I back to Mumbai when I try here HR says we don't take ex employee, I left Cipla for family problems not for any other reason and even I left odisha also started my carrier in mumbai
