no job security always threatening to ban you from UAE. Work culture is not good, you never know who is the man in charge. Management skills of the managers are zero. No company policy for non- chinese.

working environment is worst no body listen to your suggestions, just receive orders from the managers and if something goes wrong then immediately you are made in charge of every thing. Salary appraisal never happens. Salaries reduced permanently during covid 19. Never understand thefeelings of the persons/ employee working in a project. I am enjoying working with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC). Management and colleagues approach and attitude is very positive. Professional international employees will not get any job oriented training but the national (Chinese) employees are getting many internal & external training from company. Regarding job security none of the job in this region and oil & gas cannot be consider as secure for expatriate employees, however based on seniors experience CPECC will maintain and consider its qualified and competent employees for future projects. Career growth possibility is very less in CPECC A systematic way for employee appraisal and annual salary review is not in place. Increments may get once in two or three year and that also not reasonable & justfiable. Business travel chance is very less for expatriate employees like me, maximum Chinese nationals will take this opportunities for business travel. May be some internal politics within the projects groups, but I am not sure and solid evidence with me. work environment is average and managable, Life style in project camp is like a village in China, either they don't know or don't care life style and requirement other than Chinese employees.
