Great global organisation, huge credibility, one of the strongest banks in the world, Proud to be part of the the bank.
I may sound pretty negative because my experience had been bad, but these information provided can be vetted by facts & figures & from the opinion of many others, the organisation had lost almost 15 senior people(VP & Above) in the last 18 months. Very badly mismanaged business in India, specially, Wealth Management Franchisee. Lossmaking for the last 5-6 years, managed un-ethically & in a corrupt manner. Team mates : Poor professionalism, by the team leader and the top management, in fact they are corrupt people & eroded the value of the franchisee in India. Training: There was hardly any scope for training & Development, only T&D activity was bring paid speakers from outside. No pre-defined training module. Job security : The job is secured for good professionals, although the regulations are absolutely unfair and rules are dictated by unprofessional management, who has no long tern vision about the organisation & employees. as a result the franchisee is struggling in mounting losses for the last 5-6 years. Career growth: Purely on personal terms, w/o any specified rules. Career Growth : Decided by the management, no pre-decided policy, CEO's wish. Nasty case of favouritism. Salary / Appraisal : Starting salary is very attractive because of desperation of the management to recruit. Subsequent increments and incentives are poor, because the franchisee is loss-making. Travel : Policy created & mismanaged by the top management Politics : Abundant, bad to worse, unfortunate. Learning : Great personal connectivity, no professional learning. Work Environment : Was very good before 2012, worsened after that by the new management, as a result, cost escalated & the business started making loss. Innovation : NIL, the organisation hadn't invested in technology, customers have no online facilities, software used is prone to mistakes, hence not comparable to the forward looking peers. Flexible work hrs - would also depend on manager. Food Subsidy Office is very clean and well maintained
HR is usless. They only support management. Manager is very disrespectful to employees. treat the Indian employees as second class citizens. They do not value employees who have been with the company for long they would rather hire someone who had less experience give higher designation but not promote existing employees.
