Top management made some bad acquisition decision. This led to lot of debt on AT&T's Balance sheet. This has forced AT&T to re-focus and cut cost. Current management is from SBC, which acquired the AT&T global business in 2005. They are slowly stop funding and lost focus on global business. AT&T in India shall remain as IDC for US business.
