In Amazon, I get to work on various techs like AWS, and mostly teams work on full stack projects. So, we get exposure on frontend and backend techs.

Dislikes

The work life balance is very bad, also there is constant pressure from management to complete the tasks, otherwise there is constant fear of losing the job.

At amazon you are provided ample opportunities to learn. you are given your own AWS account to learn and experiment and you are given difficult tasks to overcome.

1. Work life balance is terrible and management isn't bothered about it 2. The work you do at amazon has little or no value outside of amazon. Technologies are too specific to amazon 3. There is a lot of office politics at amazon which makes you wanna leave this place as soon as possible

Everything - There is no work-life balance. Salary paid is very less and working load is of 3 times. Daily in huddles managers threaten employees about layoffs without any reason. Managers have targeting nature. They don't train you enough. If you haven't been at office due to health issues. They start thinking that you are not interested in job. The work culture of this company is good. There are facilities for employees. Number of leaves provided are good in comparison to other companies.

Dislikes

Taking leaves totally depends on the process you work. My 13 leaves were lapsed as the manager didn't approve leaves citing shrinkage. But they will not hire to meet the resource requirement. There is immense work load in Amazon. They will make you worknfor 8hrs to be exact. Micromanagement is present everywhere.
