I have joined Amazon 18 December 2023 I have my 100 percent with full dedication but the management terminate me inappropriately I am handicap person and have a family to take care of but the work culture and management is very poor

Work life balance, I strickly don't recomened working for US/Cannada marketplace since the shift timing will be 3 PM to 12 PM but you will never be able to finish your work without extending till 2 AM.

Recent changes in policies has created chaos between the employees and ruins the harmony of the companies at the workplace

No learning. Management is not bothered of employee. If you raise your voice you get targeted by management. No appraisal though your ratings are good. Managers keep on experimenting new things which hamppers employees rating. 0 budget for process since covid.

Amazon used to be a good company before 2021. Now the company culture is no more employee friendly. Now Amazon is full of toxic program/Marketing Managers who have no technical knowledge but exploit technical people. There is no good thing left in amazon except for timing flexibility.

Dislikes

This company will not promote any loyal employee but promote a person who is up for only visibility. Internal culture is toxic. Higher management knows everything but does not take any action.

I had 4 managers; all supportive, no micro management and all of them were so supportive that they recognise your personal life problems if affecting your work. Workplace is awesome, all the facilities provided are also great. Weekly connects were fun, not just the work life we had fun sessions too

Won't say anything was bad, except some people who can't forget their previous company trauma and try running things that way, and while any potential threat if they sense from their seniors they starts pressuring the lower one but that's even one in whole bunch.😅

Very strict login timings. 10hrs shift making no sense of 5day work week. Internal politics in promotions. It is based on tenure and not on the amount of work you are doing

Toxic culture, of you get sick you get punished, you are told openly to show others down so that you can be considered as good. Everyone is always complaining about others and lying to being you on their side. Promotion are based on how well you know your manager and 2 up skip levels, performance dose now matter.
