I am hired on contract basis, so there is kind of partiality for us contract basis employees. The pro is work life balance. There is ample amount of government holidays you can get and if you want personal leave it is easy to avail and it also depend on which department you are working.

Dislikes

Con is that because you're on contract basis there is not that job security feeling and the appraisal is not as compare to outside company. Being contractual employee they won't keep you priority for any monetary benefit. Speaking on Job security at AAI, people do not get fired until involved in malpractices. Your PMS only affect ur bonus not ur salary. Promotion is on basis of vacancies and placement. So if there is no vacancy in the promotional level, then it doesn't matter how good performer u r, u ll not be promoted. Work culture is good, it gives u belonging mess to the company. The career progression in AAI is not good as that should be performance centric as well as vacancies should be there at the promotional level to accomodate the below level.
