The india staff is paid almost half the allowance benefits that the rest of the global workforce gets including employee credits and education allowances, the cfo who is also the head of employee experience snubbed all the indians in a recent town hall when they asked why they are not at par with the rest of their colleagues as the work they do is the same. cfo basically said you are already paid more than market value and will not get paid more. Disrespectful and rude. Also the teams are "global" but you'll never see an american being flexible with their working hours while my team in India is expected to be online till 1AM. we pushed it back to 10PM but it's ridiculous. They need to knock their PST staff down a notch...Read More

earlier when I joined 5 years back, the work life balance was great. The company was mostly looking after employee satisfaction. However, with recent changes in the entire management team, and replacing all the tenured management persons, the company is not a great place to work

I worked for Airbnb for over 4 Years and overall, it was a good experience.. The company culture is good. The Team spirit and bonding among colleagues made it easy place to work.

Dislikes

There are few areas where Airbnb could improve. While the work envirnment was positive but the salary wasn't competitive as especially considering the demands of the job. Additionally the majority of shifts were the night.
