Okay Salary. Employee Travel policy. Immediate coworkers. Learning opportunities.

Dislikes

5 days in office policy. Poor work culture in many teams. Too much politicking happening between the Gurgaon / Kochi teams. Incompetent upper management when it comes to employee morale. Beyond useless HR. No proper roadmaps for product development, way too many things are driven based on the day to day whim of the CTO.

1.Life insurance 2.Travel benefits (Seats are subject to availability, and priority is determined by grade , which has been incorrectly assigned for most of the employees) 3.Internet , mobile reimbursements 4. There is a defined structure for IT related matters such as deployments .

1. CDTO Dr. Sathya ( self proclaimed) reminds me of Admiral Aladeen from the movie Dictator. He researches to destroy Airindia 2.He behaves as if our loyalty is to him personally , not the organisation , constantly saying work for me, do something for me. 3.Kochi D&T head , Deva Kurian - If there were a ranking for incompetence , he'd be firmly at the top. After over 20 years at TCS, he was conveniently transferred here, most likely he couldn’t secure another role. 4. Deva’s problem solving skills are legendary: He once seriously suggested opening elevator doors with our hands if we got stuck. 5.A revolving door of ex-TCS employees continues to flood the organisation, reinforcing same outdated service company mindset that bas no place in a modern airline. 6.Delhi and Kochi teams are constantly at odds with unnecessary back-and-forth politics stalling progress. 7. No real HR presence -Some people claims to be HR but they function more like enforcers for leadership rather than employee advocates. 8.There is glaring issue of grade disparities . They are completely digitally focussed, implementing best & world class softwares application across all functions to cater to all queries of stakeholders in real time with latest data.

Dislikes

They have faith on new generation who are highly qualified & tech pro with little experience BUT don't respect senior staff with vast experience who are average qualified. They have got transferred our working knowledge to new staff & showed us exit door in the name of vol. Retirement.

HR support and initiative is equivalent to zero. Career de-growth is guaranteed. Company Culture is toxic at best with politics all around. Male dominated teams and derogatory culture for females even at day to day level. Tata Code of Conduct is for namesake. Does not apply to Air India at all. Wish more opportunities were offered when Mumbai office was shut down. Wish more empathy was shown.

1. Salary is paid on time. 2. If you know someone in the top level, then you will be recruited without interview or promoted without much issue. 3. If you are from spicejet or ex-Jet Airways you will get job easily.

Dislikes

1.One of the worst work cultures. 2.Demotivating work environment. 3. Only friends of seniors are recruited or promoted. 4. TATA CODE OF CONDUCT is name sake. Big words to say, doesn't work in the organisation.
