Bad middle management. People who are not even lead level are managers here . You will not be recognised even when the client has rave reviews about you . There is something fundamentally gone wrong with Accenture recruitment and promotions .50:50 is fine but make sure that it is a credible 50:50

Now it is not a good company, it is just a big company, now there is Cartel system/groupism/Communalism that if person is from that group will only get hike/promotion/growth. Rest everyone is just a head count for a company. If you work more work, show dedication in reward you will get more work and appreciation in form of email.

Company and its operation policy are good but people Who are leading team are not capable enough to direct team according to company values and policies. Work life balance is critical in some of the projects. And it's transportation policy makes you loose your time atleast for 2hours in a day excluding travel time. Leads are not transparent in giving ratings, OT pay won't given on time and most of the time no full OT will be given ,if work extra 10 hours it will be given 1 or 2 hours based on the leads mood. Tons of things to say. First of all, no good trainings given to the new employees. All the team leaders, bosses and managers are in real hurry from day one. There is no proper introduction given about the company and also about the works/tasks we are supposed to do. The place we work is dirty, noisy and ergonomically poorly designed. Other senior employees laugh, talk, murmur while working so it gets very difficult for the new comers to work in a focused manner in a quiet environment. Hardly any breaks for food in a 8-10 hrs shift. Lastly Accenture hired me in a rotational job shift but after clearing all my interviews when I was hired I was out to work only in night shift. I also questioned them that we had an agreement that I would be working in Accenture in a rotational shift position then why are you guys assigning me only night shift!? Well they were speechless and had their backs against the wall and didn’t have any answers. Such things happen in Accenture India. I would highly recommend people to first see the workplace, the work and the timings you all are getting hired for and then if everything is fine then only join. I am not seeing any good thing regarding learning point of view, work point of view. Yeah good thing you will get so many event mail like secret santa, fun friday but you can't participate if you don't have good relation with manager.
