The thing I love most about 6sense is our FAMILY culture. Super talented people and best work environment. The company is growing rapidly, which has enabled lots and lots of opportunities for the employees. Great product that serves a multitude of use cases for our customers. The management team is amazing and has been working tirelessly for the betterment of our team during these tough times.

Work culture is very great. Company respect you and your family values. Even in WFH situation, they regularly contact in touch with us and provide full support during this pandemic condition. The company has clear visions for his products and the company is growing from couples of years very rapidly so no issue with job security. Management and company policy are nice and echo friendly.

6sense is a place with huge learning opportunities. The tech stack at 6sense is super awesome and cutting edge. Everyone here is super helpful and super fun. The icing on the cake is the company culture. The company has been extremely supportive of employees during the pandemic. We get flexible working hours, and everyone jumps in to cover for others. It's a super fun place to be in.

Work Details

I am Lead Engineer at 6sense and my work involves mostly around microservices in Python Django. As part of the job, I also get to play around with big data systems - Hive, Hadoop etc and databases such as Hbase, Aerospike, MySQL, Presto etc.

There is no job security. Employees in the US and India are treated differently. 6sense does not like INDIANS selling their products. Performance does not matter to them when they lay off employees. Even if you attain 150% throughout the year, it does not matter to them. If job security is something that is important to you, 6sense is not be the right place for you.

Remote Work Culture, Some smart colleagues

Lack of Clarity & Vision from Management. Executive team lacks integrity & doesn't have the courage to be true & candid to the teams. They let go of 200 employees in Oct 22 with no explanation & clarity just stating financial issues and on the other hand they spend millions of dollars on Dubai offsite. For the let go employees they didn't even paid off severance properly, no variables & stocks cashed out for those employees. Work life balance is not good, you will be expected to work from early morning till late nights most of the days.
