People, team used to be good and open minded.
It's all about My way or high way.. ( get fired) if you challenge or give suggestions founder opinion, pack your bags. Job security is zero. Almost 90% of team has been let go, half of management team left, as they did not listen ill logical dictator. They promice but dont give shares, treatment to leaving employees is very bad as if they are theifs and worthless people leaving on earth. All there business are going down. Till now - nothing to dislike for me. But if I have to add - this is a fast pace environment where you are changing directions and strategy every now and then. It's not for someone who is looking for the so called work-life balance. But if you have signed up for a startup, you cant be complaining on this

At the start, the organisation had a few good people in the management who had e-commerce experience and made working a learning experience
- Management does not give a damn about people under them. They kept promoting themselves and getting hikes while everyone else was just given gyaan about the organization being in a tough phase - Every week the CEO keeps changing the strategy with what they want to do with the brands they acquired. All their brands are struggling and business are way below the levels they were acquired at and also in losses. - Recently they made someone lead the ecommerce business who had zero e-commerce experience and he started firing whoever was not becoming a yes man. Created a toxic work culture by mentally harassing employees daily. And he has successfully degrown all businesses from Start - Zero attention paid to any ideas given by anyone other than the yes men of the CEO - For months, they kept inflating the GMV numbers they shared with the investors while the CEO goes and gives gyaan on LinkedIn about how to run businesses while she has no problem with fudging numbers. - They want everything to be done by interns and not hire people with domain expertise as they will not become yes men of the CEO - The company has always been in a transition over the last 2 years and this becomes a permanent excuse for not giving appraisals - Tried launching private label with her team of yes men which failed badly. Since it was he group of yes men nothing was said and they were moved to the next project which obviously failed too Anyway, stay away from this company if you care about your mental health....Read More
