Why hire when you don't have enough vacancies?
I didn't get assigned to any projects. I was on the bench for a year and they just asked to resign or else i wouldn't have got severance. It's been a year, since I became jobless. Since then i've started to learn DSA and now i'm good at it but the problem is all of my applications were rejected. I've been pushing myself as much as i can. Having a bachelor's in a non-CS discipline, makes my application less competitive than others and on top of this I was trained as a DevOps engineer at ltimindtree. The most frustrating thing is that I was the only one who had cleared all their assessments in the first attempt, yet i was the one who didn't get any projects. My suggestion to anybody, who is gonna join firms like ltimindtree is just move to a better firm, like a small startup 'cause it's better than working in these so called IT giants. I know some may disagree on what i've said but it's just what happened to me.

Rejections suck, but keep going. Many companies value skills over degrees now—just need to find the right one that does!

If you’re facing rejections, it could be due to your resume. Try tailoring it more towards skills and projects rather than just past experience.

Your DevOps background + DSA skills could be great for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles. Maybe target those instead of just software development?
