Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy calls for a 70-hour workweek, saying India needs hard work to reduce poverty and match global productivity. He asks: If we don’t work hard, who will?

What's your take on this? Is it?🤔

The poor farmers work very hard the poor factory workers work very hard and bring all the emotional drama to justify his stance. Dude we are children and grandchildren of same farmers and factory workers who educated us and thought their next generation doesn't has to work as hard as them. So why should I defeat the purpose of my parents and grandparents?

This guy belongs to a generation where getting a white collar office job was a huge deal and your employer was like a God. Making 5,000 rupees was huge deal. Work was also much slower paced. Firms like Infosys work just to please clients at the cost of employees. Like sure my engineers will work weekends to finish the task after all client is King.

Bro said "we owe it to the less fortunate citizens of India". Deep down smiling that all our hard work will eventually fill his pockets!
