Biryani which is costs 100 becomes 250 in zomato😤

They were initially getting their cut from restaurants. Now they have started charging the customers also. The food has a high markup and there are no offers like in the beginning. In the name of convenience they are looting people.

So why e-commerce like Amazon and Flipkart don’t have the platform fee for using their platform ? Is it because those sell it differently as Amazon prime membership ? And heard these organisations still run in losses and haven’t started making money inspite of having profit markups ? So now they are progressively adding it. It evident that this whole system is inefficient! As this post rightly said we need to reduce using such services and rely on local services like getting it delivered directly from shop or making food at home or when needed we can go n get it . I also feel this is such a bad model and inefficient where one person drives all the way to a shop and to the destination to fulfil one person need. It just exponentially explodes .. and look at the energy waste, pollution, traffic jams, road rages, accidents ! India having cheap human Resource, we have adapted a very inefficient system and forcing it to become mainstream model. In don’t see any creativity and morality here !!

Already stopped using zomato and swiggy few months ago. Goodbye to those looters.
