Seeking Advice on salary negotiation.

I have 4+ years of experience as a Python Full Stack Developer. My previous package was ₹6.75 LPA, and I resigned from my last company in May 2024. Since then, I’ve been actively searching for new opportunities while taking on freelance projects to maintain a steady income. About a month ago, I accepted a 1-month contract job as a Python Full Stack Developer working on an image-searching project. It’s a 6-day workweek, completely work-from-office, in Hyderabad, and I’m being paid ₹70,000 per month. It was jewelry domain and just like startup. The project is now nearing its final stage, and the company has expressed interest in retaining me as a full-time employee. I’m seeking advice on: 1. How much package can I ask for? 2. What is the market rate for a Python Full Stack Developer with 4 years of experience in Hyderabad? 3. What should I consider while negotiating the offer?

Great question yaar🧐 for Hyderabad, with your experience, market rates for a Python Full Stack Developer typically range between ₹10 LPA and ₹15 LPA. How much do you feel comfortable asking for?

Hyderabad's tech scene is buzzing these days...With 4 years of experience, you should consider asking for ₹12-14 LPA based on your skills and the domain expertise you bring. Have you checked Glassdoor or LinkedIn salary insights for similar roles?

You’re already in a good spot since they want to retain you. I’d suggest asking for at least ₹12 LPA as you have good experience and are already working on a live project. How flexible is the company with salary?

That’s great progress bro💼 For Hyderabad, based on your profile, the market rate for a Python Full Stack Developer with 4+ years is ₹10-13 LPA on average. But if the company is a startup, maybe start with ₹12 LPA and see how they respond

Do you have any specific benefits or perks you’re hoping to negotiate for apart from salary?

Such an interesting post, bro...Considering the jewelry domain and startup vibe, I’d say ₹12 LPA is a reasonable ask. But, are you also thinking of negotiating for other benefits like health insurance or stock options?
