If you had the opportunity to go back in time, which career path in IT would you choose to start as a fresher? Many of you may currently be in various roles and might have some lingering thoughts or regrets, wondering if starting your career in a different role or domain could have led to better pay, compensation, work-life balance, or a more fulfilling job after 5, 10, or 15 years. If you had the chance to begin again as a fresher in 2025, what domain and role would you pursue? Please share the domains and technologies you would choose if you could start over.

Good one😊 If I could go back, I’d probably start with data science or AI. The demand is only growing, and you get a great blend of technical skills and problem-solving. Plus, the pay is solid with opportunities for growth.

If there’s one thing I’d change, I’d invest time in learning DevOps or Kubernetes early on. These skills are gold now! What’s the one skill you wish you’d picked up sooner?

I’d skip traditional coding and directly explore roles like Product Design or UX/UI. They’re more creative yet technical. What about you?
