Notice period and Joining date

I have 40 days left in my current organization, but I have two job offers requiring me to join within 20 and 25 days, respectively. I requested an early release so I could serve 20 more days and buy out the remaining notice period of 20 days, especially since I don’t have significant tasks to complete. However, my current employer is not allowing this, despite my willingness to compensate for the remaining days. Meanwhile, the new organizations are unwilling to extend the joining date further. What should I do in this situation?

Dude, Leverage your resignation terms: If there’s no clause strictly binding you for 40 days, see if you can negotiate a way out.

If your manager is the blocker, try discussing with HR directly. Frame it as a win-win—your employer gets a smooth transition plus compensation, and you get to move forward.
