New Tax Slab Truth!

Scenario-1 If You earn a salary of 12.75 Lakh Tax to be Paid - 0 Scenario 2 If you earn a salary of 12.76 Lakh (Just 1K more ) Tax to be Paid - ₹62,000 Why- Rebate is not applicable if someone is earning a salary of more than 12.75 lakh! Sound Illogical & unfair? ( Paying ₹62,000 tax just for 1000 extra?) There is a relief in a form of Marginal Tax Rate! But what is Marginal Tax Rate? Let's revisit the scenario 2 again If you earn salary of 12.76 Lakh (Just 1K more ) You will have to pay ₹1000 as tax Then your salary reaches ₹12.75 lakh Taxes = 0 hashtag#Budget2025

Here’s a life lesson: Always aim for ₹12.75 Lakh, not ₹12.76! 😂 #Budget2025

Marginal tax rate sounds fancy, but does it really save us from this madness or just delay the heartbreak?

So ₹12.76 Lakh makes you pay ₹62K more? Sounds more like a penalty for getting promoted by ₹1000. Maybe time to cap that difference?

Yar, It’s weird how ₹1000 can cost ₹62,000. In theory, marginal tax should be gradual, but this just seems like a glitch in the system.
