Its good that you have a self realization that you are an average artist but before leaving this path, I suggest you to do some introspecting and see if you can improve your art. I have seen below average artist also tasting the success because of continuous improvement and persistence in their field. For an average person, the best path is to get a professional degree and look for job and after that improve in what you do but since you got no degree, this path is also not for you. The best thing for you to do a course in either graphic designing or any other vocation from a good institute which provides job assistance as well. Please note that there are no shortage of jobs in market but there is shortage of skills. If you can obtain good skills you will get the job for sure.

Hey bro the world is your canvas, and there are countless paths to explore. While graphic design is a great option but don't limit yourself. What kind of art do you specialize in ?

i would say you just keep working on your skills, so that you don't have to say that you are average. good luck.

Hey, I am into arts and had my own business as well. But then I simultaneously joined the corporate world, wasn't able to that full time because most my time was going in the office, commute etc and eventually gave that up. If you want to pursue that full time then I wouldn't suggest stepping in corporate but then if you need funds to grow further you can take a break and join In order but if you think you can handle both of them without getting exhausted you can do that as well. And as far as the degree is in question , even I didn't have a degree I was working on an intermediate basis , I did CEC. And I have been working for 3 years now, so stepping into anything in corporate or anywhere else doesn't necessarily need your degree. It's not mandatory, it doesn't define anything.

Hi there, Can you answer these questions? 1. What specific skills or tools have you learned as an artist or while exploring graphic design? 2. Are there other creative or technical skills you've picked up, even casually? 3. Apart from graphic design, are there activities or tasks you enjoy doing? 4. Is there a field or industry youā€™ve always been curious about but havenā€™t explored yet? 5. When you say you prefer a desk job, do you mean something structured or more creative? 6. Do you enjoy working independently, or do you thrive in team-based environments? 7. How much time are you willing to invest in learning new skills or transitioning to a different career path? 8. Are you open to pursuing certifications or short-term courses to enhance your employability? 9. What does "growth" mean to you in a careerā€”financial stability, job security, creative freedom, or skill development? 10. What motivates you the most: solving problems, helping others, creating something new, or achieving financial success?

Without a degree, you donā€™t stand a chance in most careers...Companies wonā€™t take you seriously.
