Hi everyone, I need guidance in choosing the right career path. I have a B.Com and an MBA (HR & Finance) but struggled to find a suitable job. I started as a Business Development Executive (Sales, 6 months, 3 LPA, Bengaluru), then worked as an Accounts Executive but left due to health issues and location constraints (2 months). Later, I joined as a Process Associate in an insurance company, but it lacks growth, a good package, and relevance to my field. Now, I want to switch careers. Should I choose HR, Finance, or transition into IT (Data Analyst/Business Analyst)? Please suggest the best path, job roles, and courses needed to secure a job quickly. Looking forward to your guidance!

If you're into working with people, HR could be a good choice for you. But if you’re leaning more towards tech, Data Analyst or Business Analyst roles are booming right now. I’d even suggest HR analytics if you’re interested in combining both

You’ve got a solid base! If I were you and leaning toward IT, I’d suggest picking up some SQL, Python, and data visualization skills

If you’re into tech, I’d definitely say go for Data or Business Analyst roles...those are in high demand. You could try picking up Tableau or Power BI skills too.

If I were in your shoes, I’d look at IT roles like Data Analyst or Business Analyst...those are in high demand. It’s also possible to go into HR, but you might need more experience or certifications to get started.

Why not combine your skills? I think HR Analytics or Finance Analytics could be a sweet spot for you. If IT sounds more appealing, Data Analyst or Business Analyst roles are a fast way to break into tech. Boot camps could help you learn quickly.

HR and Finance are solid choices too, but I think you might need more certifications or experience to really jump in.
