Can somebody help me with the policy around personal investment, they told me that after joining I will have to transfer them to company's broker account ? Please share the details about the same ? Is there any impact with this ?

Brother, I heard that at Morgan Stanley, you’ll need to move your personal investments to their broker account after joining, which might change how you handle your investments.

Probably to make sure there’s no problem between your own money and your work at Morgan Stanley. This helps keep the company’s good name and protects its customers.

It is not the company's broker.. its company's preferred broker which are Kotak Securities and HDFC securities.. if you have your broking/ trading account with any other broker then you'll have to close it. W.r.t personal investment-- if you're joining finance on the private side handling price sensitive data then you'll have to take prior approvals before investing. Not sure about other team's applicability for trading/ investing restrictions

They will have info about your trades. You will need prior approval to buy shares. Most people working in these companies stop buying from their own account due to these
