24 LPA is solid for 6.4 YOE in MERN. But bro, do you want chill WLB or do you want to grind and level up fast?

axtria will throw you into high pressure consulting projects. If you’re okay with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and working with data heavy solutions, go for it. Otherwise, MetLife is safer.

I value my sanity and work life balance. If you do too, MetLife all the way. Axtria is notorious for insane working hours, especially in delivery-heavy teams

A Software Developer
What kind of dev are you? If you want to stick to MERN and deep dive into full stack, MetLife is a safer bet. If you're open to analytics & consulting type work with some full-stack, Axtria could be interesting.

A Team Lead
Money is the same, but career paths are different. MetLife will probably keep you in MERN/enterprise apps. Axtria might give you exposure to data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud stuff.

I had an offer from Axtria and backed out. I heard some teams have a brutal work culture with late-night client call

MetLife is a proper 9-5 job with global insurance stability. Axtria is like a startup on steroids.

MetLife gives structured growth, predictable app development, and some WFH options. Axtria will give you random deadlines, insane deliverables, and a steep learning curve. Which lifestyle do you prefer?

Nationwide lock down 👇
Hello, I am your office desk and I want to wish you a very happy work-from-home anniversary! Exactly 5 years ago, on March 24, 2020, you got an email from HR with the subject: 'Working from home... for a while' said that mail. Little did we know, 'for a while' would become the new normal!

Night shift allowance
In my current organization iam getting 9lpa and is day shift. Now iam switching to another company with a package of 15lpa(13 fixed, 2 variable). This is a wfh option but is a night shift job and when asked about night shift allowance they said there will not be any extra night shift allowance. I have experience of 5.6years. Is what iam getting paid is less?

a specialist
Haven't received a hike and promotion in 1.5 years. About to resign. Should I ask for a formal hike and promotion before I leave?
I have been working in this company for 4.5 years. Joined at 2.2LPA. With small small hikes, at the 3 year mark, I reached 6.25LPA. After that I have never received any hike. They only changed my designation from Senior to Specialist. And that too I have not received any formal mail, just a notification from the internal portal. I am about to resign as I got a new job. Before I leave should I push for a formal hike and promotion, so that I can negotiate better for the upcoming HR round with the new employer? My expectation was 10LPA. But the new employer mentioned the offer would be around 7 to 7.5LPA as 10 is a higher hike percentage, and something like it's against company policy. What should I do here?
