Night shift allowance
In my current organization iam getting 9lpa and is day shift. Now iam switching to another company with a package of 15lpa(13 fixed, 2 variable). This is a night shift job and when i asked about night shift allowance they said there will not be any extra night shift allowance. I have experience of 5.6years. Is what iam getting paid is less?

A 15 LPA package is a solid jump, but night shifts can take a toll on health. Do you think the extra pay is worth the lifestyle change?

No night shift allowance is a bit unfair. Have you checked if competitors offer additional perks for night shifts?

Before signing, check if this company has a history of salary growth. Would they compensate later with better increments?

A 15 LPA package is a significant jump from 9 LPA, but no night shift allowance is unusual. If night shifts are mandatory, consider negotiating a shift differential.

Night shifts usually come with allowances due to the health impact. If they aren't offering one, ensure that the overall compensation justifies the inconvenience.
