Looking for Job Change
I am 7 years experienced working in the same company as part of production support Team.My current CTC is 7.4LPA.Now I am looking for a switch.
Currently I have gained a certificate in Advanced MS Excel & Power BI. Apart from this I have the knowledge of Appdynamics,ServiceNow,PL/SQL and many more tools.
Could anyone please suggest some good companies where should I apply for my next job with job security and how much CTC I should expect from them.

Considering BFSI, you could look at roles in fintech companies like Paytm, Razorpay, or even banks like HSBC and Deutsche Bank. For your experience, a CTC of 13–15 LPA seems realistic. What’s your ideal role?

AppDynamics and ServiceNow are great skills to have in the BFSI domain! Have you thought about applying for IT Operations or Application Support Engineer roles in companies like Barclays or JPMC? They value professionals with your background.

For BFSI, companies like BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, and Standard Chartered could be great options. They usually look for professionals with Power BI and PL/SQL knowledge.

I was in a similar situation a few years back. After working in production support for almost 5 years, I felt stuck and unsure about how to grow. I decided to upskill with Power BI and got a few certifications in analytics tools. It wasn’t easy to find the right role initially, but I started reaching out to people and build connections and started applying to roles in BFSI companies that valued both technical expertise and domain knowledge. Eventually, I landed a role with almost double my previous CTC.
The key was targeting companies where my production support skills (like PL/SQL and ServiceNow) matched the job description. For someone with your experience, aiming for a 13 - 15 LPA isn’t unrealistic. Keep networking and looking for openings in places like Barclays, HSBC, or fintech startups. Trust me, your persistence will pay off.
