an assistant manager
Job change
I have 13+ years of expertise in accounting KPO resources; I am currently working as an Assistant Manager, however 5 years ago I was only managing the accounting team. I've now taken on an extra position as an automation subject matter expert. My profile appears to be unique, yet when it comes to career advancement, it is tough for me to find job.
The reason for this is because I am a subject matter expert in automation. I'm not sure how recruiters evaluate my profile as a manager or subject matter expert.
I want to be a manager rather than an automation subject matter expert. I'm not very knowledgeable about job search. In my career, I have only switched over three times.
I am also scared of the three-month notice period. Most companies do not allow it. Will having a three-month backup income savings and starting the job search help?
