Is There Unfair Criticism of Indian IT Giants?
Let's talk about the heat TCS, Infosys ,Wipro and similar companies are getting these days. Freshers seem to be especially vocal, calling them "CHWTIA" (a derogatory term). But here's the thing: these companies employ a huge chunk of India's IT workforce. Sure, the pay might be lower, but guess what? Maybe those complaining didn't prepare enough to land those "dream" jobs.😅
These service giants train tons of people!💁♀️
What are your thoughts? Do these companies deserve the negativity?🤷♂️

A friend was working on a Rolls-Royce project at Infosys. Got his hands on billable. They were charging 4.5L inr for his work. Per month. My man was making 3.5l a year.💁♀️

[misskick](username) That is their business model. So you think Google, Microsoft pays all the money it earns from the employee to employees itself?

When they work in a company that does mass hiring then they have to perform constantly so that they can be seen in such a competitive environment, and it automatically improves their working efficiency, and it is beneficial for them in a long run.

The problem as an experienced professional is that they ghost lots of interviews. They ghost even after giving a provisional Offer.

Am I on right path?
Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks.
My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K.
With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes.
Now, I’m preparing for an HR round and planning to ask for a 55% hike. Am I on the right track? How can I accelerate my career growth?

Need Your Valuable Advice.
Hello,
6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision.
My previous job had,
1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture
2. Good Time for my family & personal life
3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home
4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance
Now, in my current Indian company:
1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy)
2. No proper training
3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training
4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents
5. Started my health issues
My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning.
*It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.*
Would you recommend going back?
