I have 3.8 years as BA including 2.8 years as Salesforce Business Analyst. I’m competent with Sales cloud, Experience Cloud, revenue cloud, Mulesoft integration, quote to cash process and CPQ. I hold 7 Saleaforce certifications including Salesforce BA and AI associate. My last CTC is ₹8.62 LPA. Currently I have an offer for a Salesforce BA role and I have negotiated a 30%-35% hike. Have I properly quoted my hike. Please help me with your suggestions.

Hey folks!
I might receive an offer letter from a BLR-based company that expects me to relocate from Mumbai. They’re offering me 16.7 LPA (~3.8 years of work experience) for a Data Analyst position with many 
additional perks. 

Was wondering if someone could give me some figures to understand general expenses in BLR and then understand how much I should be saving.

Their office is in Whitefield so my accommodation would ideally be nearby or at a 20-30 mins distance.

Day to Day Office

I’ve been working at a startup since 2018. We were in a temporary office on the outskirts of the city, but now we’re shifting to a prime location. The problem? We’ll have to pay for parking an extra ₹80K-₹1.3L per year.

It’s not a huge amount, and I can manage it, but it still feels like a sneaky pay cut. During the temp phase, we had free parking, which made it seem like parking would be covered permanently. Now, that’s not the case.

Should I ask for a raise to offset this cost? If yes, how do I frame the request without sounding petty? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🚦😕

I'm starting my backend journey with javascript but I'm hearing from many people that start with Java springboot.

I have been working in this company for 4.5 years. Joined at 2.2LPA. With small small hikes, at the 3 year mark, I reached 6.25LPA. After that I have never received any hike. They only changed my designation from Senior to Specialist. And that too I have not received any formal mail, just a notification from the internal portal. I am about to resign as I got a new job. Before I leave should I push for a formal hike and promotion, so that I can negotiate better for the upcoming HR round with the new employer? 

My expectation was 10LPA. But the new employer mentioned the offer would be around 7 to 7.5LPA as 10 is a higher hike percentage, and something like it's against company policy. What should I do here?

Haven't received a hike and promotion in 1.5 years. About to resign. Should I ask for a formal hike and promotion before I leave?
