How do I make academic writing as a profession?

I have one and a half years of experience as a Process Associate at Wipro, but I want to change my industry to academic writing. I am seeking a full-time position and am not interested in freelancing. I have only a Bachelor of Science degree. Is it possible to secure a full-time job in academic writing as a complete fresher? What steps should I take to achieve this? Should I learn specific skills or obtain a certificate in writing to improve my chances? Please do suggest.

Great question.....While a Bachelor's degree is a good start, having a Master's or Ph.D. can be beneficial for advanced academic writing roles. Have you considered pursuing higher education?

Many people transition into academic writing from other fields. Focus on building your writing portfolio and networking with academics in your desired field.
