Guilt before buying
I'm a 25-year-old making 1.10L a month.
I invest 70K in SIPs, 15K in fixed deposits, and use the remaining 25K for food, rent, gym, etc. I've saved up 5L so far.
I want to buy Jordans for 9K, but I feel guilty as soon as I add them to my cart and end up talking myself out of it, thinking it could go towards my savings instead.
How do you all buy things like iPhones, iPads, or Jordans without feeling guilty or worrying about your savings?😅

Keep it in the cart.
Open a RD for 9 months
Put 1k every month into that deposit
After 9 months use it to buy what you want.

I'm 23 and unemployed. When I was 19 I was getting 18k. How the hell people are getting so much high salaries.

Guilt is good as this suggests that you are mindful about spending money. Spend 10 or 20% of your salary on wants. Not necessarily every month but as a whole. Further, You don’t take money with you on pyre or in grave. Live a little and for god sake you are just 23.
