Gen Z at Work: Changing the Game or Breaking It?

Working with Gen Z has been... interesting, to say the least. They’ve tossed out the old playbook hoodies in meetings, strict work-life balance, and absolutely no hesitation in calling out outdated processes. While I admire their confidence, I can’t help but wonder if this constant push for change is always for the better. Sure, some traditions need shaking up, but does everything really need to be reinvented? It’s definitely a culture clash. Sometimes, their approach feels refreshing; other times, it feels like pure chaos. Are they making workplaces better, or are we just caught in the whirlwind of their "new way" of doing things? Love it or hate it, one thing’s clear Gen Z is here to make their mark, and the rest of us are just trying to keep up.

Okay, real talk. Gen Z at work is a mess. They’re pushing for constant change, but it feels like they’re just trying to break everything without understanding why things worked the way they did. Hoodies in meetings? Seriously? Am I the only one who thinks this is a disaster in the making?
